Prayer in this writ petition filed by the petitioners under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, is for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus, directing the respondents to grant the Nigam Wage Rates to the petitioners by placing them in the appropriate slab of experience i.e. 5-10 years in Districts of Category-II of Level-I posts as per Clause IV of the Notification dated 19.01.2022 (Annexure P-3) w.e.f. the date the petitioners have completed 5 years of their respective experience on the posts manned by them along with all consequential benefits including re-fixation of pay, payment of arrears of difference of pay along with interest @ 18% p.a. till its realization, particularly in view of the recommendations made by the office of respondent No.4, vide letter dated 25.10.2023 (Annexure P-8).

Learned counsel for the petitioners, at the very outset, confines his prayer for deciding representation dated 14.03.2024 (Annexure P-9). Mr. Saurabh Mohunta, DAG, Haryana, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents and has no objection to the innocuous prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioners.

I have heard learned counsel for the parties and have gone through the record of the case.

Without going into the merits of the case at this stage, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.1 to decide representation dated 14.03.2024 (Annexure P-9), submitted by the petitioners expeditiously, by passing a speaking order, preferably within a period of 03 months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
