The prayer in the present Civil Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, is to issue a writ in the nature of mandamus, for directing the respondent to reconsider the impugned orders dated 11.12.2008 and 01.02.2008, Annexures P-1 and P-2, whereby 28% and 5% cut was imposed in pension of the petitioner.

After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioner prays for withdrawal of the present petition to pursue the representation with the department.
