The petitioners have approached this Court under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India inter alia seeking a direction to respondents No. 2 and 3 for allotment of the flats to them in terms of the policy dated 03.11.2008 (Annexure P-2) meant for riot victims. 2.
After arguing for some time, learned counsel for the petitioners submitted that though a representation dated 04.07.2016 (Annexure P-17) has already been filed but the supplementary representation along with supporting documents is required to be filed. Accordingly, a prayer has been made that the petitioners be permitted to do the needful and a time bound direction be issued to respondent No. 2 to dispose of the representation of petitioners expeditiously in accordance with law, after Rishu Kataria 2016.09.28 14:30 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document

After hearing learned counsel for the petitioners, perusing the present petition and without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, we dispose of the present petition by granting liberty to the petitioners to file a detailed and comprehensive representation along with supporting material before respondent No. 2 within a period of one month from today. It is directed that in the event of filing such representation by the petitioners within the stipulated period, the same shall be decided by respondent No. 2 within a period of three months from the date of receipt of the representation, in accordance with law by passing a speaking order and after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioners.
