Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is claiming interest on the delayed release of pensionary benefits on the ground that the petitioner has been exonerated in the proceedings which were initiated against the petitioner, due to which her pensionary benefits were withheld, and the said issue has already been decided by this Court while passing order in CWP-145922016 titled as Harbhajan Singh Vs. State of Punjab and another decided on 18.04.2022 hence, the present petition be also disposed of in the same terms, which judgment has already been uphled in LPA No.314-2023 (O&M) decided on 16.01.2024 titled as State of Punjab and another Vs. Harbhajan Singh. 2.

Learned counsel for the respondent has not been able to rebut that the claim of the petitioner in the present petition is covered by the judgment passed in Harbhajan Singh's case (supra).
