Learned counsel submits that the petitioners have not been granted the arrears of revised pay scale from 01.07.2021 till 20.09.2021, pursuant to Punjab Civil Service (Revised Pay) Rules, 2021 and instructions dated 03.11.2021, which though has been released to the similarly situated employees, regarding which, a representation dated 15.03.2024, Annexure P-4, has been submitted, however, the same has yet not evoked any response. He thus, on instructions prays that a direction may be given to the respondents to decide the same in a time bound manner, to which learned State counsel has no objection to the limited prayer made.

In view of the above and without commenting on the merits of the case, this petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to the respondents to consider and decide the representation dated 15.03.2024 within a period of 6 months, which this Court has no reason to believe the authorities would not address in a just, fair and reasonable manner.
