The petitioner seeks a direction for quashing the result qua respondent No.5 who alleged managed to win the Gram Panchayat elections of Village Jagoli, Tehsil & District Ambala in connivance with respondents No.6 to 16.

The election has already held on 17.01.2016 rendering this writ petition as infructuous. However, the petitioner has got the efficacious alternative remedy to file the election petition. (3)
The instant writ petition is disposed of as infructuous with liberty to the petitioner to institute the election petition, if so advised, however, keeping in view all the attending circumstances, the Election Tribunal is directed to ensure that the election petition, if so filed, is decided within six months. (4)
