***** ARUN MONGA, J. (ORAL) Petition herein, inter alia, is for issuance of a writ in the nature of Certiorari for quashing reversion-cum-transfer order dated 18.01.2017 (Annexure P-3) and relieving order dated 19.01.2017 (Annexure P-4), whereby the petitioner has been reverted back to his original post of Commercial Fisherman and transferred from the office of District Fisheries Officer, Bhiwani to District Fisheries Officer, Jind.

The matter was taken up for hearing on 20.02.2018 when none appeared for the petitioner and in the interest of justice matter was adjourned to 09.07.2018. Thereafter, it was adjourned from time to time as the turn of the case did not mature for hearing. In between, it could not be heard due to the intervening pandemic period. Ultimately, on the last date, the matter was taken up i.e., on 15.09.2022 when none appeared for the petitioner and notice was issued to the learned counsel for the petitioner. As per office report, learned counsel for the petitioner was informed about the adjourned date, yet none has appeared on behalf of the petitioner even today.

Petition is dismissed.
