Petitioner has posed a challenge to order passed by State Information Commissioner. Admittedly, petitioner has by now cleared the B.Tech Engineering course. Stand of the University is that punishment has been awarded to the dealing hand who was responsible for misplacing the answer-sheets.
In view of developments that have taken place, no interference in writ jurisdiction is called for. Petition is hereby dismissed. Learned counsel for the University, however, submits that an amount of `20,000/- shall be remitted to the petitioner as compensation within the meaning of section 20(1) of the Act. Needful be done within two months.
