IN THE HIGH COURT OF PUNJAB AND HARYANA
AT CHANDIGARH ***** CRM-M-32776-2024 Date of decision : 17.7.2024 Som Nath .............Petitioner
Versus
State of Haryana .......Respondent CORAM: HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE SANDEEP MOUDGIL Present: None for the petitioner Mr. Chetan Sharma, DAG, Haryana --- SANDEEP MOUDGIL, J (ORAL) This petition under section 439 Cr.P.C. has been filed for grant of regular bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.463 dated 23.12.2021, under Sections 302, 201, 404, 120-B of the IPC, registered at Police Station Pehowa, District Kurukshetra.
2.
Learned State counsel would submit that prosecution evidence is complete in this case, therefore, it would not be appropriate to grant bail to the petitioner at this stage as the trial is almost concluded except the defence evidence and arguments.
3.
In light of the above, the Court has not found any justifiable reason to continue with the instant petition and in the light of the fact that the petitioner is not turning up to present the cause of the petition, the instant petition is ordered to be dismissed for non-prosecution.
