Learned counsel for the petitioner fairly submits that at the time of filing of the present petition, the petitioner has challenged order dated 14.09.2017 along with seniority list (Annexure P-18), whereby the objections of the petitioner were rejected qua earlier service.  submits that the petitioner is going to retire on attaining the age of superannuation on 30.11.2025, as such, he will only confine his claim for consideration of the period from 18.09.1996 to 06.12.2012 as a qualifying service for the purpose of retiral benefits. 3.

Learned counsel for the petitioner, on instructions from the petitioner, submits that he will be satisfied if petitioner is permitted to file a representation before respondent No.2 for consideration of the period of service i.e. 18.09.1996 to 06.12.2012 as a qualifying service for the purpose of retiral benefits and a direction may be issued to respondent No.2 to decide the same in a time-bound manner. 4.
