(Oral) The present writ petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing respondent No.2 i.e., the Appellate Authority, PSWC to decide the statutory appeal dated 19.02.2016 (Annexure P-3), which has been filed against order passed by respondent No.1, whereby, penalty of dismissal along with recovery of an amount of `12,43,664.76/- has been imposed upon the petitioner.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner would be satisfied in case, directions are issued by this Court to the Appellate Authority to decide the statutory appeal dated 19.02.2016 (Annexure P-3).

Keeping in view the limited prayer of the petitioner, the present writ petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to decide the statutory appeal dated 19.02.2016 (Annexure P-3) within a period of two Neetu Rani 2016.10.03 10:32 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.

CWP No.20320 of 2016 In case, the Appellate Authority will take some time to decide the appeal then the application moved by the petitioner be decided by passing a speaking order within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
