By way of present writ petition filed under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India, petitioner has moved before this Court inter alia for issuance of a direction to respondent No.2, to decide appeal bearing No. MA/05/2024, filed on 12.02.2024, Annexure P-6, within a specific time frame. 2.

State counsel has placed on record a copy of order dated 11.09.2024, passed by the Divisional Commissioner, Jalandhar, to submit that the appeal was heard on the said date and order dated 04.12.2023, passed by the District Magistrate, Hoshiarpur, was stayed. She has instructions to state that the appeal is now fixed for hearing on 25.09.2024.

In view of above development, counsel for the petitioner submits that the instant writ petition has become infructuous. 4.
