The present civil writ petition has been filed under Articles 226 and 227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to promote the petitioner to the post of TGT (English) w.e.f 17.07.2018, that is the date the juniors of the petitioner have been promoted to the post of TGT (English). Learned counsel for the petitioner has contended that the petitioner has served legal notice dated 07.09.2020 (Annexure P-15) to respondent Nos.1 and 2, however, no response has been received till date. He further contends that at this stage the petitioner would be satisfied if a direction is given to the respondents to decide the legal notice dated 07.09.2020 (Annexure P-15) in a time bound manner. On the asking of the Court, Mr. Hitesh Pandit, Addl.
