This petition has been filed under Section 528 of the Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, for quashing of FIR No.100 dated 3.6.2025 under Sections 406, 420 IPC and Section 82 of Registration Act, 1908, registered at Police Station Division No.6, District Police Commissionerate, Jalandhar; and all the consequent proceedings qua the petitioner.

At the outset, learned State counsel (on instructions from Inspector Rajwant Kaur, SHO, Police Station Division No.6, District Police Commissionerate, Jalandhar), has submitted that the police has prepared the final report under Section 172 of Cr.P.C./challan and the same shall be filed within a period of 3 weeks from today. 3.
