By virtue of instant petition preferred under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India, petitioner has sought issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent authorities to grant the benefit of past service rendered by the petitioner in Haryana State Minor Irrigation Tubewell Corporation (since the date of initial appointment and till abolition of HSMITC i.e. 30.06.2002), toward pay/pension/retiral benefits as similar benefit has already been granted by various departments of State of Haryana. 2.
At the very outset of the arguments, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though legal notice dated 02.02.2018 (P-20) was duly served upon the respondents but till date neither any response has been received nor any decision has been taken thereon. Accordingly, instant petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.3-Chief Engineer, Operation, Dakshin Haryana Bijli Vitran Nigam, Vidyut Sadan, Hisar District Hisar (Haryana) to consider the case unfolded by the petitioner in legal notice dated 02.02.2018 (P-20) and to decide the same, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.

However, if petitioner still feels aggrieved against any order passed by the aforesaid authority, he shall be at liberty to have recourse to the other remedies available under law as well as to approach this Court.
