By virtue of instant petition preferred under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India, petitioner has sought issuance of a writ especially in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to calculate the arrears of contributory provident funds due to the husband of petitioner in accordance with mandatory provisions of Panjab University Calender treating salary as basic pay plus all allowances excluding house rent allowance for the period 1984 till the date of retirement.

At the very outset of the arguments, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that though representation dated 20.02.2018 (P-10) was moved to the respondents but till date neither any response has been received nor any decision has been taken thereon. Accordingly, instant petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.5 - President, RSD College, Ferozepur City, District Ferozepur to look into the grievances unfolded by the petitioner in representation dated 20.02.2018 (P-10) and to decide the same in the light of judgment passed by this Court in CWP No. 25131 of 2014 (O&M), decided on 14.11.2017 (P-9), within a period of three months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order. 4.

However, if petitioner still feels aggrieved against any order passed by the aforesaid authority, she shall be at liberty to have recourse to the other remedies available under law as well as to approach this Court.
