PARAMJEET SINGH DHALIWAL, J. (ORAL) Instant writ petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India has been filed for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to consider the claim of the petitioner and grant employment in the State Service on compassionate grounds being member of terrorist affected family as per policy dated 05.02.1996 (Annexure P-15).

Learned counsel for the State has filed affidavit of Virender Singh, P.C.S., Sub Divisional Magistrate, Talwandi Sabo, on behalf of respondents No.1 to 5. It is submitted in the affidavit that petitioner has been appointed as peon in the office of Deputy Commissioner-cumDistrict Magistrate, Bathinda, vide appointment letter No.5/EA dated RAVINDER SINGH 2016.05.11 10:34 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document
