Petitioner - Akashdeep Singh, has filed the instant petition under Section 482 of the BNSS, 2023 (erstwhile Section 438 Cr.P.C.), seeking grant of anticipatory bail in case FIR No.105, dated 17.12.2024, under Sections 103(1), 109, 61(2), 62, 190, 191(3), 351(2) of BNS 2023 [offence under Sections 117(2), 118(1) of BNS, 2023 added later on], & Section 25, 27 of Arms Act, 1959 (earlier Sections 120-B, 511, 302, 307, 325, 324, 149, 156, 506 of IPC), registered at P.S. Chohla Sahib, District Tarn Taran.

Learned counsel for the petitioner refers the bail orders passed in the cases of co-accused persons, and appended as Annexures P-3 to P-7, respectively, with the present petition. The details of which are as under:- Sr.

In view of above, learned counsel submits that petitioner being innocent also deserves to be treated similarly and thus, prays for grant of anticipatory bail.

However, faced with the allegations against the petitioner of causing injury to Devinder Singh firing a short by 12. bore gun, after argues for some time, learned counsel prays for withdrawal of instant petition, at this stage.
