The present case was taken up twice. No one has appeared on behalf of the petitioners.

The writ petition has been filed by the petitioners, namely, Rishpal Singh, Sulakhan Singh and Jaspal Singh, seeking a direction to the respondents to take final decision in a time bound manner regarding exchange of land of one Pargat Singh with shamlat deh of the Gram Panchayat, Kotli.

On the face of it, the petitioners are not concerned with the lis, namely, change of land, in question. When the case was taken up on 16.07.2018, this Court had observed that the locus of the petitioners to initiate the present petition is questionable. The case was adjourned on the request of counsel for the petitioners. Today none has appeared. Prima facie, we do not find any merit in the present writ petition. However, as none has appeared on behalf of the petitioners, the present writ petition is dismissed for non-prosecution.
