(ORAL) The present petition has been filed for quashing of FIR No.262, dated 29.06.2016, registered at Police Station Civil Lines Amritsar, under Sections 420, 467, 468 & 471 IPC (P-1) on the basis of compromise. Pursuant to order dated 31.01.2023, report dated 03.03.2023 has been received from Judicial Magistrate Ist Class, Amritsar, according to which, the statements of the parties have been recorded and the compromise is genuine and has been arrived at between them with their free will, volition and without any undue influence, threat, coercion or pressure. In view of the above, the petition is allowed and FIR No.262, dated 29.06.
2016, registered at Police Station Civil Lines Amritsar, under Sections 420, 467, 468 & 471 IPC (P-1) along with all consequential proceedings having arisen therefrom, is quashed qua the petitioners.
