The prayer made in the present petition is for seeking a direction to release/pay all the service benefits regarding service of son of the petitioner, late Sh. Jatinder Saini, who was working as a Clerk and expired on 30.06.2011, as per the dependents certificate, Annexure P-1, issued by Deputy Commissioner, Gurdaspur.

Learned State counsel makes a reference to paras 3 and 4 of the short affidavit dated 20.07.2022 filed by Gursharan Singh, District Education Officer, wherein it is stated that respondent No.4 had given an undertaking that all monetary benefits relating to the deceased Govt. Employee be given to the petitioner, who was his mother, which were released and as such, nothing survives in the present petition and the same may be disposed of as having been rendered infructuous.
