Instant petition has been filed under Section 438 Cr.P.C. for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner in case FIR No.65, dated 21.06.2024, under Section 22 of the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985, registered at Police Station City-2, Abohar, District Fazilka. It is further prayed that during pendency of the present petition arrest of the petitioner may kindly be stayed. 2.
Learned counsel for the petitioner prays for withdrawal of this petition with liberty to the petitioner to surrender before the trial Court. 3.
Allowed as prayed for. Petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty aforesaid. However, in case the petitioner surrenders before the trial Court within one week from today and applies for regular bail, learned trial Court is directed to decide the same expeditiously as per law preferably within two weeks from the date of its filing.
