Mr. Arjun Sheoran, Deputy Advocate General, Punjab. **** Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that subsequent to the filing of the petition against the decision of the respondent-authorities to declare the petitioner unsuitable to participate in the tender proceedings, the respondent-authorities have communicated reasons to the petitioner on 12.07.2023 for taking such decision, which mainly relates to the fact that the petitioner company, who had been awarded previous contracts, had not supplied about 50% of the ordered quantity inspite of being granted extensions.

Leaned counsel for the petitioner submits that as the authorities have extended the period for supplying the material till 29.07.2023 and the petitioner company intends to do so, the petitioner company may be granted time to approach the respondent-authorities by filing a representation in this regard.
