By virtue of instant petition preferred under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India, petitioner has sought issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing order dated 13.06.2016 (Annexure P-4) to the extent that petitioner is not entitled for full amount and whereby a meagre amount of `13,31,161/- has been sanctioned and further directing the respondents to consider the medical claims and reimburse the amount of `27,14,077/- along with interest @ 18% per annum.

Concededly, the case of the petitioner is fully covered with the judgment rendered by this Court in CWP No. 5714 of 2014, captioned as "Hari Chand v. State of Punjab and others", decided on 06.01.2016 (Annexure P-5). It being so, the petitioner is also entitled to the same relief, which has been granted to the petitioner in Hari Chand's case (supra). Accordingly, instant petition is disposed of with the direction to the respondents to calculate and disburse the pecuniary benefits accrued to the petitioner in terms of Hari Chand's case (supra) within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order. 4.

However, in case of non-compliance of order of this Court, the petitioner shall be at liberty to approach this Court.
