The present petition has been moved for release of the petitioner on parole for a period of three weeks under Section 3(1)(a) of Haryana Good Conduct Prisoners (Temporary Release) Act, 1988. The petitioner is undergoing imprisonment for life at Central Jail, Hisar. The father of the petitioner is suffering from cancer. As per report of PGI dated 29.05.2018, he is critically ill and suffering from Carcinoma Base of tounge T3NIMO stage III (third stage of cancer). The petitioner was earlier granted parole vide order dated 04.04.2018 in CWP No.3207 of 2018. The same was extended for another three weeks vide order dated 10.05.2018. The petitioner filed CWP No.13197 of 2018 in which vide order dated 23.05.2018 notice of motion was issued for 31.05.2018 and the parole already granted was extended. CWP No.15377 of 2018 -2Since the petitioner had to surrender on 31.05.2018 and the writ petition was dismissed as infructuous vide order dated 01.06.2018. In the present writ petition, learned counsel for the State has verified the fact that the medical condition of the father of the petitioner is critical.

Keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the case, the writ petition is allowed and the petitioner is directed to be released on parole immediately on his furnishing bail bonds to the satisfaction of the District Magistrate, Jhajjar.

It is made clear that the period of parole is three weeks which will start from the date of release from the jail. The petitioner is further directed to surrender before 5.00 p.m. to Jail Authorities on the date on which the period of parole would come to an end. (AVNEESH JHINGAN) JUDGE 26.06.2018 anju Note:
