******* SURINDER GUPTA, J.(Oral) The petitioner has filed this petition seeking the custody of her daughter Sheekha Kumari stated to be minor at the time of filing of petition. As per report of respondents No. 1 to 3, Sheekha Kumari had married with Rahul son of Satnam Singh on 30.06.2019 and is presently living with him at his house. It has been stated by Opinderjit Singh, Senior Superintendent of Police, Batala in his affidavit as follows: That, from the perusal of the statements, discreet and open enquiry Deputy Superintendent of Police, City Batala came to the conclusion that Shika Kumari W/o Rahul Kumar Caste Mehra resident of Mann Nagar Batala is living with her husband peacefully and happily and no one has detained her illegally as alleged by the petitioner.

In view of statement of Sheekha Kumari recorded by the police JYOTI 2019.11.13 11:15 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CRWP-616 - 2019 -2and result of enquiry conducted by SSP, Batala, I find no reason to allow this petition filed by mother of Sheekha Kumari seeking her custody, as such, the same is dismissed.

The petitioner has also moved an application seeking direction to respondents No. 1 to 3 to arrange her meeting with Sheekha Kumari. Being mother she is entitled to meet her daughter even if she has married against her wishes or without her consent.

This application (CRM-W-81-2019) is disposed of with direction to SSP Batala to arrange meeting of Sheekha Kumari with petitioner at a place deemed as secure. She be allowed to meet the petitioner in the presence of her husband and her family members. The petitioner will ensure that she does not create any problem at the time of her meeting with Sheekha Kumari.
