SUVIR SEHGAL J. (Oral) The instant petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondents to permit the petitioner to exercise new option with effect from 01.01.1992 instead of earlier option in view of the notification dated 24.12.1992 (Annexure P-1).

During the course of hearing today, learned State counsel has filed a photocopy of the affidavit submitted by the petitioner before them wherein she has deposed that she has changed her option date and her case has already been sent for revision of pension. She has further deposed that she will withdraw the instant petition which is pending before this Court on 05.12.2019.

In view of above, writ petition is dismissed as having been rendered infructuous.
