Present petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution, inter alia, for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari to quash the impugned order dated 06.06.2018 (P-5) passed by respondent No. 4, whereby the regular appointment of petitioner for the post of Jail Warder in the category of ESM (General) was cancelled. Learned State Counsel, on instructions, apprised the Court that in the interregnum, relief claimed in the present petition, vide order dated 31.07.2018 passed by the competent authority, has been granted to the petitioner, therefore, present petition be disposed off as having been rendered infructuous. He produced a copy of the aforesaid order. Same is taken on record as 'Mark-X'. Copy thereof supplied to the counsel for petitioner. Registry to do the needful.

In view of the aforesaid order, learned counsel for petitioner does not press the present petition and prays for disposing off the same accordingly.

Disposed off accordingly.
