Mr. Vinod Kumar, Advocate for the petitioner. Mr. Sanjeev Ghai, Advocate for respondent-UT, Chandigarh. HARINDER SINGH SIDHU, J Petitioner has filed this petition under Article 226 of the Constitution, praying for issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to transfer Booth No.75, Sector 19-C, UT, Chandigarh in the name of the petitioner, on the basis of an unregistered will of her mother-inlaw. It is the case of the petitioner that her mother-in-law Savitri Devi was the absolute owner of said booth. She executed an unregistered will dated 26.02.2020 in favour of the petitioner. All other legal heirs have submitted affidavits, giving their no objection to the transfer of the property in the name of the petitioner.

Mr. Ghai, learned counsel appearing for the respondent-UT states that the process for transfer of the Booth in the name of the petitioner has been initiated. As per the procedure, a letter has been issued to the petitioner to get a public notice regarding the transfer of the property MANOJ KUMAR 2022.08.26 10:44 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
