RAJIV SHARMA,J By means of present petition, the petitioners, who are street vendors, seek a writ of Mandamus directing respondent Nos.3 & 6 to issue registration certificate/vending licences and to adhere to the provisions of The Street Vendors (Protection of Livelihood and Regulation of Street Vending) Act, 2014 (for brevity "the Act").

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners are engaged in this business for the last more than a decade and that their case has not been considered under the provisions of the Act. Learned counsel for the respondents has assured the Court that the matter is under process and shall be considered shortly.
