The petitioner's grievance is that respondent No. 7 i.e. the private respondent under the guise of a mining lease is also carrying out mining activities in the petitioner's property and also from the Satluj river for which there is no mining permission granted in favour of respondent No. 7.

A representation in this regard was made by the petitioner's letter dated 30.11.2015 to the Mining Officer, Ludhiana. 3.
