Learned counsel submits that the petitioners have not been granted ACP under the scheme of completion of 4, 9 and 14 years of regular service to which they are entitled, the order of their termination having been set aside by this Court in CWP-2617-2017, titled as Satpal Sharma and others vs. State of Punjab and others, vide judgment dated 28.10.2024, Annexure P-3, decided alongwith batch of petitions, though during pendency thereof, they are continuing in service due to an interim order in their favour. Similarly situated employees have been granted the relief vide order dated 24.04.2025, Annexure P-6, regarding which he would file a representation to the respondents, which may be directed to be decided in a time bound manner, to which learned State counsel has no objection. 2.

In view of the above and without commenting on the merits of the case, this petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to the respondents that in case a representation is filed within 4 weeks, the same be decided within a further period of 4 months, which this Court has no reason to believe the authorities would not address in a just, fair and reasonable manner.
