Petitioners have filed this petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a writ in the nature of certiorari quashing the impugned letter dated 04.08.2015. At the time of issuance of notice of motion, following order was passed by this Court on 13.10.2015:- "Grievance of the petitioners is that similarly situated persons have been given option for consideration of their candidature in the open (general) category for appointment in the Bank whereas, such an opportunity has been denied to them. It is submitted that

Learned counsel for the petitioners has submitted that petitioners do not want to pursue their claim with regard to challenge of letter dated 04.08.2015.
Learned counsel for respondent No.1 has submitted that the case of the petitioners for appointment was considered under General category candidates and they have not made it successfully for appointment with the Bank in General category.
In view of the submissions made by learned counsel for respondent No.1, this petition has been rendered infructuous and is disposed of accordingly.
