ANIL KSHETARPAL, J(Oral) The petitioner prays for the issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus to direct the respondents to regularize his services. Though, a copy of the reply dated 12.05.2022 is not part of the paperbook, however, the learned counsel representing the State of Punjab produced a copy thereof, which is taken on record.
Para 4 of the aforesaid affidavit reads as under:- "4. That the Principal Chief Conservator of Forest (HOFF) Punjab respondent No.2 consider the representation of Petitioner and sent his report to Divisional Forest Officer, Rupnagar vide his letter No.6987 dated 21.12.2021 that the Chairman Screening review Committee, Ferozepur issued final seniority list on dated 29.10.2021 of daily wages laborers/daily wagers Drivers up to dated 31.03.2021, in which this Laborers name are listed at serial No.444, According to seniority list these Laborers shown completed 19 years as on dated 31.03.2021. So if the Punjab Government in future introduces any notification regarding regularization of Adhoc Contractual, daily wage, temporary out sourced etc. worker then the necessary action may be taken for regularization of these workers and may be consider according to seniority list and as per provision of policy and in view of conditions issued by the Government in the policy. (A copy of letter No.6987 dated 21.12.2021 attached as Annexure R-1)."

CWP-17308-2017 -2The learned counsel representing the petitioner submits that he has no objection if the writ petition is disposed of in terms of the stand taken by the respondent-State in para 4, which has been extracted above. Keeping in view the aforesaid facts, the writ petition is accordingly disposed of.
All the pending miscellaneous applications, if any, are also disposed of.
