The prayer in the present writ petition is for issuance of directions to the respondents to regularize the services of the petitioner in view of Notification Annexure P-7 and letter Annexure P-8. 2.

Learned counsel submits that the case is for regularization of the services of the petitioner as Samiti Patwaris, on which post he has been working since 03.03.2011 having been appointed pursuant to advertisement dated 17.09.2010. His work and conduct has been throughout satisfactory. Similarly situated employees had approached this Court by way of CWP12121-2016, Pritam Singh vs. State of Punjab and others, decided on 13.03.2020, Annexure P-10 by referring to additional affidavit dated 26.02.2020 and direction was issued to consider the claim of the petitioner for regularization in the light of the letter dated 02.01.2017. He further, at this stage, prays that his matter be also considered in the light of the aforesaid decision.

Learned State counsel has no objection to the aforesaid limited prayer.

In view of the aforesaid and without commenting upon the merits of the case, this petition is hereby disposed of with a direction that in case the petitioner submits a representation/legal notice within a period of four weeks, the same shall be considered by the respondents and decided by taking note of the judgment referred to, by the petitioner, within a period of six months and if found entitled, necessary benefit be granted to him forthwith. However, in the eventuality of the relief being denied, a speaking order be passed, after associating the petitioner therewith.
