The prayer in the present writ petition is for issuance of writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to reevaluate the answer book of the petitioner for the subjects of English, Economic and Mathematics on or before 29.06.2018 as the petitioner has opted/applied for seeking admission in reputed colleges affiliated with Delhi University/other Universities in India and the percentage of marks in XII examination will definitely affect the fate of the petitioner.

Mr. Sandeep Verma, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner has already applied online for reevaluation on 21.06.2018 and the whole exercise will be helpful in achieving the desired result only if the respondents declare the result of the said re-evaluation on or before 29.06.2018. He submits that in an identical matter this Court vide interim order dated 12.06.2018 PANKAJ KUMAR 2018.06.23 15:32 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document

CWP No.15619 of 2018 -2passed in CWP No.14725 and 15148 of 2018 directed the respondents to declare the result of the petitioners with respect to the re-evaluation as sought for on or before 29.06.2018 by 5 PM. Mr. Nitin Kant Setia, learned counsel appearing for the respondents assures that the case of the petitioner shall be considered in terms of the order passed by this Court in similar cases i.e. CWP No.14725 and 15148 of 2018.

I have heard learned counsel for the parties and appraised the paper book. Keeping in view the facts and circumstances of the case and the statement made by Mr. Setia, I deem it appropriate to direct the respondent-Board to declare the result of the re-evaluation sought by the petitioner in the aforementioned subjects on or before 29.06.2018 by 5 PM without waiting for receiving of process charges which is scheduled for 25.06.2018, if any. However, the same shall be subject to the completion of process by the petitioner on 25.06.2018 and if there is any lapse or delay on the part of the petitioner, the respondent-Board will be at liberty to take action in accordance with the schedule. The writ petition is allowed in the above terms.
