**** JAISHREE THAKUR, J. (ORAL) The instant writ petition was filed for setting aside order dated 29.01.2013 (Annexure P-5) by which the petitioner had been placed in the seniority list at Sr. No. 162 whereas his juniors had been given a higher seniority.
It is contended that the petitioner had represented to the department concerned for granting him regularization w.e.f. 18.05.2001, however, since no action was taken thereon, the instant writ petition was filed.
During the course of proceedings, an affidavit has been placed on the record dated 27.03.2017 of the Executive Engineer, Water Supply and Sanitation, Sangrur in which it is submitted that the services of the petitioner have been regularized as Fitter by the cadre controlling authority Superintending Engineer, W/S and Sanitation Circle, Ludhiana (Punjab) by Satyawan 2017.03.30 12:03 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document High Court Chandigarh
CWP No. 25097 of 2013 -2letter dated 08.03.2017 and the services of the petitioner have been regularized w.e.f. 18.05.2001.
In view of the fact that the services of the petitioner have been regularized w.e.f. 18.05.2001, the relief as claimed in the writ petition has been met, therefore, no further orders are called for in the instant writ petition.
At this juncture, learned counsel for the petitioner prays that the necessary relief of increments etc. which would flow from the regularisation order w.e.f. 18.05.2001, it should be disbursed within two months. This writ petition is being disposed of giving liberty to the petitioner to approach the respondents seeking relief and in case such representation is filed, the same be decided within three months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order, and if the petitioner is found to be entitled to any relief of increments etc. which would flow from the regularisation order w.e.f. 18.05.2001, it should be disbursed within two months thereafter.
