-.- AMIT RAWAL J. (ORAL) The prayer in the present writ petition is for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing respondent No.1 to 3 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner at the hands of respondent No.4 to 6.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that he will be satisfied if the representation dated 15.03.2018 (Annexure P-7) submitted by the petitioners to the Superintendent of Police, Sirsarespondent No.3 is decided within a stipulated period. Without commenting upon the merits and demerits of the matter, I deem it appropriate to issue direction to the Superintendent of Police, Sirsa-respondent No.3 to decide the representation dated 15.03.2018 (Annexure P-7) submitted by the petitioner within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order and pass a speaking order thereon after affording an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner in accordance with law.
