The grievance of the petitioners in the instant writ petition is that delimitation exercise of Municipal area, Hansi has not been done in accordance with Rule-7 of the Haryana MOHINDER KUMAR 2015.10.15 12:09 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document Chandigarh

CWP No.21950 of 2015 [2] Municipal Delimitation of Wards Rules, 1977. It is further alleged that the principle of continuity for the formation of wards has also not been adhered to. The petitioners are said to have raised this issue in their objections dated 16.01.2015. If the matter regarding finalization of wardbandi of Municipal area is still under consideration before the Competent Authority, we see no reason as to why objections raised by the petitioners be not examined in accordance with law/Rules, referred to above. It shall be appreciated if due consideration is given to the petitioners' objections while finalizing delimitation of wards.

The writ petition stands disposed of accordingly. Let a copy of this order be given dasti to Mr.Anil Mehta, learned Deputy Advocate General, Haryana, for information and necessary compliance.
