Prayer in the instant petition filed under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India is for issuance of directions to respondents No.1 to 3 to take necessary legal action against respondents No.4 to 8 on the basis of representation dated 25.04.2025 (Annexure P-1). 2.
Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that marriage of petitioner - Om Parkash had taken place with respondent No.4 - Gudia on 08.12.2020 in Uttar Pradesh at his native village. After two days of the marriage, petitioner and respondent No.4 started living in Kharar and a son was born on 17.11.2021 from the said wedlock. He submits that respondent No.8 - Gaurav, started visiting the house of the petitioner at Kharar and when petitioner asked her wife about him then she said he is a distant relative. On 11.02.2025, respondent No.4 misbehaved with the petitioner on being enquired about her telephonic conversation with someone. When said incident was reported by petitioner to respondent Nos.5 to 8 then instead of asking respondent No.4 they misbehaved with SANGEETA 2025.07.11 10:26 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
CRWP-5845-2025 the petitioner and gave beatings to him. Thereafter, respondent No.8 told the petitioner that he had solemnized marriage with his wife and threatened the petitioner to kill him and his son if he would take any action against them. Petitioner has submitted representation dated 25.04.2025 (Annexure P-1) to Senior Superintendent of Police, SAS Nagar, Mohali, but no action has been taken.

During the course of arguments, learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that he would be satisfied if the representation dated 25.04.2025 (Annexure P-1), which had already been moved by the petitioner is looked into.

Ms. Gagandeep Kaur, DAG, Punjab, accepts notice and submitted that he has no objection if the aforesaid representation dated dated 25.04.2025 (Annexure P-1) is looked into. 6.
In view of the above, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 - Senior Superintendent of Police, SAS Nagar, Mohali, to look into the representation and to take appropriate action, if any required, at the earliest.
