* * * * RAVI SHANKER JHA, C.J. (ORAL) With the consent of learned counsel for the parties, the matter is being taken up and heard via video conferencing. The only prayer made by the petitioner is for a direction to the respondent-authorities to consider and decide the representation dated 25.09.2020 (Annexure P-6) filed by the petitioner in accordance with condition No. 29 of the DNIT.

The aforesaid representation has been filed by the petitioner against the rejection of his bid in the tender proceedings taken up by the respondent-authorities. The petitioner submits that in a similar case being CWP-8948-2020 titled as M/s Kanda Traders, Main Kaccha Dosanjh Road, Moga and another Vs The Chairman, Market Committee, Moga, District Moga, Punjab and others, a representation of the kind as filed by the petitioners therein has been directed to be considered and decided by this Court on 30.06.2020. He prays for a similar relief.

Ms. Monica Chhibbar Sharma, learned Senior Deputy Advocate General, Punjab accepts notice on behalf of the respondents and submits that the representation filed by the petitioner shall be considered and decided by the respondent-authorities in accordance with law expeditiously. In view of the aforesaid statement, the petition stands disposed of.
