(ORAL) Instant writ petition under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India has been filed for issuance of a writ in the nature of mandamus directing the respondents to notify the proceedings of the removal of respondent No.3 from the post of President, Nagar Panchayat, Khanauri, District Sangrur and to hold the election of the President. In pursuance of order dated 07.12.2015, learned counsel for the State has filed status report by way of affidavit of Ravi Karan, Deputy Secretary, Local Government, Punjab on behalf of respondents No.1 and 2, same is taken on record. In view of above, present writ petition has been rendered infructuous.
