This petition, filed under Article 226/227 of the Constitution of India, challenges the award, dated 18.12.2018 (Annexure P-1), passed by the learned Presiding Officer, Industrial Tribunal-cum-Labour Court, Faridabad, vide which lump-sum compensation has been awarded to the petitioner. The petitioner also seeks a direction to respondent Nos. 2 and 3 to reinstate him with full back wages and continuity of service. On the previous date of hearing, none appeared on behalf of the petitioner. Today also the position is same. It transpires that the petitioner is not interested in pursuing the writ petition. Consequently, this Court is left with no option, except to dismiss the case for non-prosecution. Ordered accordingly.
