The prayer made in the present petition is for directing respondent No. 2 to decide the statutory appeal dated 07.01.2025 (Annexure P-2) filed by the petitioner against the order of punishment dated 19.12.2024 (Annexure P-1) passed by respondent No. 1, whereby punishment of stoppage of one increment with cumulative effect has been imposed on the petitioner. 2.

Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner, on instructions from the petitioner submits that he will be satisfied if, at this stage, a direction is given to respondent No. 2 to decide the statutory appeal filed by the petitioner in a time bound manner.

Learned counsel appearing for respondents No. 1 and 2 does not have any objection to the limited prayer made by learned counsel for the petitioner. 6.

In view of the above and without commenting on the merits of the case, the present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No. 2 to decide the statutory appeal dated 07.01.2025 filed by the petitioner in accordance with law within a period of six months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
