CWP-21110-2016 The instant writ petition has been filed seeking limited prayer that the representation dated 27.04.2016 (Annexure P-1) moved to the department pursuant to the order passed in CWP No. 27310 of 2015, should be decided expeditiously.

In brief, the facts of the case are that initially the petitioner herein was working as a Cook and had been given promotion as a Chowkidar. However, the said promotion was revoked subsequently. This came to be challenged in a writ petition filed before this Court and ultimately when the matter was taken up for hearing the petitioner was given a sum of ` 1,00,000/- as compensation. CWP-21110-2016 -2new recruitment have also been given. Seeking appointment the petitioner preferred a writ petition No. 27310 of 2015 which was disposed of by an order dated 22.4.2016 allowing the petitioner to pursue his alternate remedy. Subsequent thereto, the petitioner moved a representation dated 27.4.2016 which is yet to be decided.

The only prayer in this writ petition is that the said representation which is yet pending consideration for more than 10 months should be decided expeditiously.

In view of the limited prayer, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to decide the representation dated 27.04.2016 (Annexure P-1) of the petitioner as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of three months from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order.
