On the oral request made by learned counsel for the petitioners, the present writ petition is being treated as a Civil Revision Petition in terms of Article 227 of the Constitution of India, which has already been invoked by the petitioners. The Registry is directed to do the needful. 2.

The grouse of the petitioners is that an application submitted on their behalf for furnishing security of land is pending consideration before the learned Executing Court.

Keeping in view the limited prayer made on behalf of the petitioners, the present petition is disposed of with a request to the learned Executing Court to expedite the proceedings and decide the aforesaid application within a time-bound manner at the earliest within two months, as the matter pertains to disbursement of compensation arising out of compulsory acquisition of land.
