The present petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India for issuance of a writ in the nature of certiorari for quashing of the order dated 26.06.2024, Annexure P-18, passed by respondent No.2.

Learned counsel submits that the names of the petitioners have not been included in the tentative seniority list with regard to which, they had submitted objections on 06.06.2024 and 10.06.2024, Annexures P-10 and P-11, and prior thereto on 01.05.2023, 19.06.2023 and 15.05.2023, Annexure P-12 to P-14, however, no order thereon has been passed and on the other hand, they are vide order dated 26.06.2024, seeking proposals of all pending promotional cases. In this regard, learned counsel on instructions submits that a fresh DINESH 2024.07.12 03:30 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
CWP-15821-2024 -2representation shall be submitted, which may be directed to be decided in a time bound.

Learned State counsel has no objection to the limited prayer made. 4.
In view of the aforesaid and without commenting upon the merits of the case, this petition is hereby disposed of with a direction to the respondents that in case the petition shall submit representation within four weeks, the same shall be decided within a period of four months, which this Court has no reason to believe the authorities would not address in a just, fair and reasonable manner. Needless to say, if the orders are adverse to his interest, the same shall contain reasons and the petitioner shall be free to seek legal redress.
