SURYA KANT, J. (Oral) The petitioner and respondent Nos. 5 to 7 are stated to be cosharers of the land which has been acquired by the State of Punjab, vide award dated 15.1.2014 (P-4). As partition proceedings were pending between the parties, there arose a dispute with regard to apportionment of the compensation also.

It is stated at the Bar that the matter has been amicably settled between the private parties, vide compromise, dated 6.4.2016 (Annexure RPRASHANT KAPOOR 2016.07.15 11:55 I attest to the accuracy and authenticity of this document

CWP-2113-2016 1), which has been placed on record by respondent No. 5 alongwith her affidavit dated 21.4.2016.

In this view of the matter, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the official respondents including the Land Acquisition Collector, Sangrur, to disburse compensation to the petitioner and respondent Nos. 5 to 7 strictly in accordance with the said compromise. The needful shall be done within two week from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order.
