RAJESH BHARDWAJ, J. (ORAL) Instant petition has been filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying for issuance of direction to submit the final report 173 Cr.P.C. in case FIR No.0027, dated 04.03.2020, under Sections 406 and 498-A IPC, registered at Police Station Women, Jalandhar. Learned senior counsel submits that FIR in this case was registered on 04.03.2020, however, the investigation is not complete till date.

On the asking of the Court, Mr.Harpreet Singh Multani, Assistant Advocate General, Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of the State and at the outset submits that investigation in this case is complete and challan has already been presented on 02.09.2021 qua mother-in-law Jasbir Kaur. He submits that so far as husband-Pushpinder Singh is concerned, he is abroad, hence, challan could not be presented against him.
