(ORAL) This petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, seeking a mandamus directing the respondent No. 2 to refund the amount of Works Contract Tax (WCT) wrongly deducted by M/s Bhakra Beas Management Board (B.B.M.B.), Nangal, District Ropar on inter-state sale and deposited with respondent No. 2. 2.

A perusal of the file shows that the respondent-Excise Department has passed an order dated 14.08.2015 (Annexure P-8) rejecting the claim of the petitioner for refund. 3.

After arguing for sometime, learned counsel for the petitioner states that he may be allowed to withdraw the present petition, with liberty to file fresh one by impleading proper parties and also by furnishing better particulars.
